We need to put tax reform onto the big agenda

What is Tax? Tax is a crime against citizens.

Only a Tiny Change for a HUGE Reform

What is TaxConverting the monstrous income tax system to an employment tax might sound like a monumental task but it is absolutely simple. The only real change is in the basic premise. The rest of the necessary apparatus is already in place and it would only need minor touches to be retooled for the new job. Certainly the whole reform wouldn’t take any more time and money that is spent every time a party promise changes the tax system at a new budget.

Income Tax ‘Loves’ Like an Abusive Spouse

Government does not love you: it loves your money. And when you allow the government to abuse you in one critical way, then it takes advantage to hurt us in more ways too. Make a stand and say NO! We can easily end the abomination of income tax and that alone will have a huge benefit to all of our lives.

Can you examine your world and situation critically to understand what is wrong with our lives? Do you dare to even try? Most of us know there are many problems but we close our minds to them: we prefer focusing on the things which are good. But that.doesn’t fix or even address the problematic issues: those are just piling up and growing worse. Our current situation created these problems and to repair them, we have to make changes.  But we can do so easily and painlessly.

No Right is Still No Right

Government Only Loves Money

You as an individual do not have the right to take money from your neighbor’s pay to use as you want – even if you spend it on what you say is in the neighborhood’s best interest. And the people of Canada similarly do not posses that right collectively either because what is not a right for one is not a right for millions of ones either – even when acting as a community. Government only has the power to inflict laws that profess to create the delusion of a right from a wrong.  But the real and true bottom line is that income tax is founded on an untrue principle that can never be righted, no matter how many judges try to bolster their employer’s case with legal baffle.  So if it can never be actually legitimized, why should we let it stand?  The answer is that we should not and we need not either.

The government does not have the right to tax people but we as citizens do have the right to tax business.  Regardless of who might own any particular business, all corporate and company entities were created from our laws: they are slaves to our prosperity and we can tax them.  An employment tax could replace the income tax so smoothly that the change would be almost unnoticeable – but the actual effect would be absolutely amazing.  Our whole national situation would instantly improve and the longer term results would keep getting better and better.

To close this article, I’ll say that your lives might seem comfortable for now but that the breeze of change is gathering momentum. We can wait and see where we will be blown or we can set a sail to steer where we want. Ever since 911, the police state we are living in has deepened but crime and violence is increasing despite (or more likely because of) the more intense oppression. In addition to the other many benefits, an improved tax system will reduce the tension in our society and the crimes born in that tension will also drastically decrease.

What is Tax?  It is a problem to be eradicated.

We CAN Strive for Respectable Government

A Strong Voice for Reform in the Peace River Riding

Independent for Grande Prairie Alberta

A party government failed a confidence vote in parliament to cause this election but party candidates in general have lost all credibility.  Real people have no confidence in them either.  In fact, many people don’t even go to the poll because there have been no decent choices on the ballot.  My name is Russ Toews and I’m standing for federal election as an independent.

The party candidates and media try telling you that independent means no power. I say that a party candidate has even less authority. With a party, as with a dog sled team, only the leader isn’t looking up under the tail in front. And also like sled dogs, a party sponsor is cracking the whip and telling the leader which way to turn. My independent voice and forward vision, along with your optimistic votes, will provide all the power I need. I will only have my one independent vote in parliament but as puppies that have piddled on the floor, I can at least rub their long noses into the mess.

‘Conservative’ Harper says “Stay the course.” He’s diverted a $60,000,000.00 river of gravy into his wealthy friends’ pockets and has offered them tax relief as an added bonus. Neither Harper nor his Peace River party puppet have even the slightest clue of what the word ‘conservative’ means. Instead, I say “Stay the execution of our future prosperity!” Don’t just slap sixty billion dollar bandages onto the symptoms of an economic wound!  We need to devote honest consideration into fixing the true problem at its real cause. The global economy is fragile because of rampant and harmful high stakes gambling in the financial services sector – that is absolutely factual.

I’m fighting an uphill battle of your behalf by my not spending any money on advertising or campaigning but I’ve retained my integrity to you by not accepting any sponsor donations. You can help  out simply by talking to your friends about me. If together we can show people that this time there is a good reason to vote, then we will win.

I strongly believe that ‘representation’ should have its base in actually respecting the voter’s wishes. Most people I’ve spoken with detest the heinous income tax system. So how can clinging greedily to a ninety-plus year old temporary war measure that everyone hates possibly be construed as representation? We the citizens DEMAND that the tax system either be fixed to our satisfaction or it should be finally scrapped in favor of a preferable source for revenue! Stick your vote for Russ Toews as a postage stamp and I’ll boldly climb up parliament hill to deliver that letter in person!

Elect Russ Toews – Independent in the riding of Peace River.

The Citizen is Third – at BEST

The very first priority of a political party is gaining or retaining power. Towards this ends, a party will employ any and all means. They will spend your money to make themselves look good. For proof of this fact, all you need do is to consider the costs of the political promises they make in an election campaign.

As a close second, the party satisfies it's sponsors. Money for campaigning is the lifeblood of party politicians and they cannot afford for the source of revenue to dry up.

Then somewhere in the back of the party's mind is the vague notion that they should accomplish something that serves the voters - as long as it doesn't cost much. This is a sad but true fact. If you elect a party candidate, then you'll never make it to the gold medal finals: the best you can ever hope for is bronze.

Vote for Russ Toews in the electoral riding of Peace River.
